This is Tanya, a Lara Croft cosplayer. In my opinion, the best one out there!

I've been having a bit of a creative blockage for some time now - started about 5 drawings and didn't finish any of them, in fact i abandoned them pretty quickly. On other hand I've been wanting to do a realistic rendition of Lara Croft for a long time, since lately I'm re-experiencing my childhood and Lara is constantly on my mind, yet my digital skills aren't that good to give a go at a serious Lara painting. Also, I'm thriving to improve my traditional skills but obviously my choices of pictures to be drawn were a failure

And then, Tanya uploaded a beautiful series of slightly nude Lara cosplay photos, which was in my opinion very brave (especially since Tomb Raider fans have a very protective idea of their favorite character and what she would and wouldn't do), and the moment i saw them i knew it - that's it, i just HAVE to draw her

so it came out to be a great combination of what I've been wanting to do - Lara Croft and a serious graphite drawing. I only regret that the likeness to Tanya lost itself during the process

Also, I would just like to say to all the people who have been judging Tanya for this bold move (calling it pornographic and attention seeking) that Tanya already has a great reputation as a Lara cosplayer and in many opinions is the best one out there, so it's a bit absurd to call her attention seeking and in need to take her clothes off to gain likeness to Lara. She doesn't need to impress anyone anymore, so open your minds a little bit before you open your mouths.
